After all this time anything is possible. The barrel could have been changed anywhere along the way by anyone. You'd never know... Barrels were used by serviceability not manufacture. The military doesn't care who made it. Parts were sent to all users and they also would replace with what came to hand.
There's a picture somewhere of Dutch soldiers with both a carbine and rifle...M1s and equipment... This isn't it but... https://www.deviantart.com/theoddbal...tent-763420794
Yes, pics when you can..."Old blue toothbrush"? Like...toothbrush? Looking forward...

Winchester WW2 barrels do not have the name Winchester stamped on the barrel nor date. Replacement barrels made in the later 1960's have the word Winchester in script with the date

This barrel just has a very faint WP circle proof on the side of the barrel near where the date would normally be. Honestly I wouldn’t have known it was a Winchester proof if I hadn’t seen it more clearly on sporting Winchester’s. The barrel also appears to have a more blackish-blued look to the finish.

Looks like Greek black park on the op handle.

Yeah the op rod doesn’t match the patina on the rest of the gun. Most likely a CMP
replacement.

Or something... What was the grade of this rifle? Rack?

Field grade. External it’s rough, which bothers me not at all. I prefer the been there look on Milsurps, especially Garands. But cool thing is, the barrel is 1+ on muzzle and throat wear. So basically brand new. It’s fairly shiny and I haven’t even run a patch through it yet.
And I agree, the op rod does look like Greek black. I guess the CMP
has a big ol’ pile of in spec op rods for rifles that need them—some are probably off Greek Garands.
