    New Winchester aquisition

    July 1944 Winchester. Appears correct. Trigger A marked. Safety WRA-1 marked. Rounded plunger. WRA marked trigger guard. Front sight 11/16th but has punch mark. Aperture is no track. Round rear ring gas cyclinder. Open arrow elevation and windage knobs. W/P in oval barrel.

    I was under the impression Winchester used the single slot gas cylinder lock screw until end of WW2. Yours has the gas cylinder lock screw relief valve, is that correct? Or am I seeing it wrong?

    There is a single slot gas cylinder lock screw on it with worn dulite. I can put up more pictures later after work if you’d like.
