    Unknown Foreign M4 Bayonet marking

I am in possession of a rubber handled M4 bayonet with an unknown marking on the guard. Has anyone ever come across this marking or know the country of origin?

I have seen it referred to before as it appears to be attributed to Frenchicon Indochina. That was some years ago too. Nothing since that.

I thought that it might be Indonesia but checking online Taiwan is being suggested. I don't think that anyone has confirmed it 100%.

No, that's the problem, so there must not be many. The other example is a grip scale model not formed rubber. Those usually suggest a tropical environment.

I was able to reach out to Ralph Cobb from worldbayonets.com today. He has seen the marking before, unfortunately he had no specific information on the marking or the bayonets country of origin.

It's not Taiwan. I have a Taiwan marked bayonet and that's not the symbol they use.

What symbol do they use then if you have a confirmed Taiwanese bayonet?

That's it. It's a variation of the Nationalist sun. It's not an M4 bayonet but a Garandicon bayonet. Picked it up at a garage sale probably 15 years ago.

    Here's mine.
