A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Nothing exotic on the menu today, probably just make do with a deer burger later on. Yesterday I baked a big coon with sweet taters and onions and fixed up a pan of cracklin corn bread to go with it. Would've BBQ'd the critter but it was too blasted cold and windy to venture out very long at a time. I had forgotten how rich coon is, first one I've cooked in a good while.

Bison chili topped with cheese and green onions. Washed down with a Ranger IPA... or three.
