If I was a japanese soldier looking out and seeing that fleet all I could say would be I'm toast!

I've always been in awe of photos of the 1000s of ships and boats from horizon to horizon bearing in on the coast of France June 6.

100% definatley Iwo fellas.....and not in the early stages of the campaign either as the marine is wearing what looks like an M41 jacket over the top of his P41 dungarees...so it was starting to get cold.An eerily atmospheric picture....you can just imagine what that singualr marine is thinking.
