Looks like someone hit the front right sprocket with a HE shell. It has spread the sprocket and removed a portion. More damage than it would do against the armor of the body... great shot! If the MG gunner / radio operator lived, he must have had some headache!!...

I think there were several entities shooting or at least several shots on target. Both tracks have been destroyed and there's a hole in the hull at the junction of hull/turret just in front of the bow gunner. That alone would have destroyed it. The open hatches in the turret seem to have been sooted up from fire. Road wheel and idler wheels/bogie wheels are scattered...this one took a catastrophic hit. I think it cooked just short of a full ammo explosion...

I wonder if it could be a firing range target, I saw hulks that looked lke that on the 106mm recoilless range.
Real men measure once and cut.
