No4mk1 barreling tools
Does anyone have blueprints or a dimensional drawing for a barrel vice and receiver wrench for the no4?

The barrel vice is easy. Assuming you have a machine shop. Two slabs of steel, milled flat on one side each, with a hole drilled through(1" diameter as I recall) and a couple holes D&T'd for bolts to tighten them together. (Used 3" SPS steel bar stock and 5/8" stove bolts, years ago. Saw a picture in a Brownell's catalogue of the vice. Didn't have any drawings either. The one I made was way over weight and over engineered, but it worked.) Then a bushing made of mild steel that has the ID matching the taper and dimensions of the chamber area of the barrel. Measure both ends and do the arithmetic.
The wrench is another critter. The shop I made the vice for had a proper issue wrench(that didn't look like the one limpetmine linked to). I did make one that worked for M1
Carbines though. I believe Brownell's sells a universal receiver wrench that works for not stupid money.
