Question Screwdriver size for Lee Enfield NO 4 MK 1

Can someone tell me what dimensions I need in a screwdriver to remove the stock bolt from a Long Branch, Lee Enfield, 1941, No. 4 MK 1, and point me in the direction of where I can buy one ?

    Thanks

Lowes or Home Depot, Sears, etc. A big one, about 15"-18" long, with a blade end, (notch type, not Phillips), single or double handle, square shaft so you can put a wrench on it, should do the trick.

PS, post your serial number info on the sticky, and post pictures. We like 1941 Long Branches here.

    'cause!

Of the production of the Long Branch brand of Lee Enfield, the 1941's are the only No. 4 Mk1's they made, about 15,000 or so, which makes this about 1.6% of the production. In otherwords, pretty doggone rare. The Mk II model is even more rare, the LB No. 4 Mk1/2, converted from these 15,000 and upgraded to Mk II status. Remember, no sandpaper or polyurethane!

If it helps, the slot is .090" wide, .135" deep and 3/4" long.

Is 3/4" the width of the slot that goes into the screw ?
