Buttstock Disc ID

Hello. First time on the forum. I was wondering if anyone can help ID the unit disc from my 1916 Enfield. There were markings on both sides. Could these be South African? PF = Permanent Force? I'd appreciate any and all help. Thanks.

I just took a quick scan through Skennerton's "The Broad Arrow" and I couldn't find any markings that resemble what you have on your discs.

Here's a site provided by Amatikulu with some good information to bookmark for the future. I can't find that marking there either.

I wrote a book that listed all of the British butt marking disc information. Well, to be brutally honest and frank, I wrote it but I copied it from the 1944 Equipment Regulations. It's called plagerism really but it's a damn good read anyway and being straight from the horses mouth (or regulations in this case) so to speak, it's absolutely correct

Thanks to both of you for looking. I'll check out the book.
It's a great shooting rifle. I bought it at a gun show for $175.00. Here are a few photos before I cleaned it up a bit. It didn't take much to clean up, no where near as bad as my 1956 Ishy (another good shooter).
