    Where to buy P14 barrel?

Hello, new here to this forum. I want to join in the conversation and get my P14 into shootable condition. It is marked RE 292xx ........does this number date it? or? Does anyone have or know where I can get a barrel? Thanks for letting me join in and for any help or advice, Paul in Mississippi

paul,if you remove the lower hand gard the barrels right side were it screws into the reciver should have a ser# ,hopefuly the same as the reciver. there were two vareations of barrels.
there was some 400,000 remingtons, produced between 1916-1917.

Sorry I was not clear on P14 Enfield

All I have is the complete action, no stock, barrel, etc. The ears were removed years ago and a scope base installed using nice craftsmanship but I only have the action as reference. The bolt is not numbered the same as the action either but I suspect that common......? I have been getting the same reply from a lot of surplus and other gun parts dealers: "Haven't seen a P14 barrel in years, no known source". Used to be a gunsmith had a bucket over in the corner full of Mauser, Enfield and Jap barrels. I guess not as much anymore or at least I am trying the online sellers and I need to go old school and ask the out of the way smiths. Thanks, Paul
