    ID these grips?

I posted below about the Colt/Argentineicon model of 1927.
These are the grips that have been on it since back in the early 60's.
From what info, I've been able to scrounge up.....it looks like all of the 10,000 Colt made for Argentines had the full checkered grips.

    Question is,
Is there any way to tell if these are original early grips?

    TIA

Looks like Colt Double Diamond grips, made out of walnut and used up until 1919 on all the 1911's

    Thank You Duane.....
    Wondering about their value?
Since it looks like they aren't the style that would have been issued on the Colt/Argentineicon .45 model of 1927.

They are pretty nice, I would think somewhere between $100 and $200 for the pair. I'd put them up for auction on AA or GB and just see what they bring. You could always put a reserve on the auction if you want to.
