Wow! Not something you get to see much anymore. This was just opened yesterday, no date on the packaging per se, but I thought the war time admonition not to waste the cardboard packing and save for reuse was pretty interesting.

Nice........ Are the breech block and barrel extension .50 parts - or are they from a .303 aircraft Browning?

Going by the scale of the size of the barrel extension there, I'm thinking .50 cal...the .303 was such a miniature gun by comparison.
