    When were the Type 3 Barrel Band w/ The Bayonet Lug added ? Didn't Inland use them in Feb '45.

    May I believe however to my knowledge there is only one war period photograph showing the type III band with lug.



    The caption reads something like ditched B29 coming back from Tokyo bombing run IIRC It is very hard to read with tired old eyes
