US Model 1917 .22 LR conversion third type-- Parker Hale conversion

This Model 1917 Eddystone is converted to .22 LR by removing half of the receiver ring and fitting the barrel with a Parkerifle liner and altered bolt mechanism. It is Britishicon commercially proofed.

I imported one of those a couple of years ago. Very neat conversion.

Thanks you again for sharing!! Is this rifle a repeater? From the photo it looks like a magazine is inserted in the magazine well.

    Thanks again!!

    breakeyp--

Do you know if Parker Hale did the same conversions to the Pattern 1914 as well?

    Thanks

Various P-H catalogs state that they would undertake to convert any arm to .22 LR. I have never seen a lever action so converted but the certainly did the Pattern 1914.

Just thinking about .22 conversions... The Lee Enfields are easier to do, because the breech face is not set deeply inside the receiver ring.
