Canadian Marked (C and Broad Arrow) Khaki Wool Riding Breeches

I have a pair of khaki riding breeches that I was given when I worked at a riding school after high school. They seem to be in fairly good shape.Inside the pocket I found a patch with the size printed on them along with a stock number perhaps.
However I know nothing about them. Are they wartime breeches or post-WW-II? Thus far there has been no information to be gleaned from the net. Any help with information would be appreciated.

They're WWII dispatch rider or motorcyclists pantaloons.

I'm not sure. I paid about $40 for a pair around 5 yrs. ago.

They are the WW2 pattern with the bandage pocket on the front of the right thigh (P37). Being a relatively small size I'd say the $40 number is fairly close. If they were a little larger (tough to find to fit a "modern" body type) they might bring twice that to the right buyer. I have a 1943 BSA despatch bike. It took me years to find a good pair of these with a 36" waist.
