    Suicide at the range

A fellow at my club told me a most unusual story today. During the winter months he shoots at an indoor range in his neighborhood. So far they have had four suicides at this range. All four were committed in the same manner. A guy would come in, rent a pistol, and soon afterward shoot himself in the head. The owner of the range now requires customers to sign some sort of disclaimer before being allowed to shoot. Has anyone else ever heard of such a thing?

Yes, it has happened up here the cops and the range try to keep it quiet. Unfortunately these disturbed people see this as an easy way out. Obviously they don't care about anyone else.

No and it sure doesn't help our cause! What a shame.

A woman did this at a range near here a few years ago. A very cruel and selfish thing to do to others. (as well as yourself and your family. Suicide by cop is also cruel to inflict on the cop you choose.

Obviously they don't give a damm about anyone else.
1, They will drop the gun and possibly cause it to be damaged and of course the gun will be impounded by the police for a period of time which means it cannot be rented out.
2, There is all that blood and brains to be cleaned up.
    3. The range will have to be closed until the body is removed, thus causing a loss of revenue for the day.

there was a vid on CNN a month or 2 ago, of a survelance camera catching a woman shooting her son in the back of the head as he shot, then turning the gun on herself. guy in the next stall over looked a loss at what to do.

There was a case a couple years ago up at an indoor range my buddy works at. Seems the guy was acting so weird they refused to rent him a pistol. He came back a while later and thanked them for that.

The range was Shoot Straight in Casselberry, Florida, north of Orlando.

A few weeks later a guy came into the same range, rented a gun, and killed himself.
