    Mystery Holster ID?

Found what appears to be a left hand 1911 holster with no makers mark and unusual (Middle Eastern?) insignia. Very well made and patina but little wear.
Input welcome as google has failed me.

Someone else mentioned that as a possibility. Similar but not the three crossed sabers.
    Think I found it.

These lefties have appeared and been touted as real but I think they're aftermarket...something to come through a place like IMA for instance. You can also find the left handed M3 or M7 that have been aged a bit or brand new...but are spurious. This particular one, have you tried a 1911 or A1 in it to see if it even fits?
    Regards, Jim

I tried a 1911. Fit ok. Going to try a Browning High Power as that appears to have been the standard sidearm of the Indian Army. I found a couple of photos of left handed holsters mounted cross draw fashion. The Sikh markings are the odd bit. Cannot find a holster of any type with that insignia.

Probably, look at the bulge just above the chape of the holster and it matches a Hi Power.

Not a fantasy piece the quality is too good. Perhaps a short run as awards?

Maybe...maybe an honest requirement for some paramilitary group.

Left hand 1911/A1 holster? I'd be thinking commercial vs milsurp. Militaries don't believe anybody could possibly be left handed.
A Browning High Power won't fit. Too thick. I have an Inglis and it does not fit the M1911 holster I have.
The Indians use a copy of the Inglis BHP(likely got the tools and machinery from Trudeau the Elder when he closed Canadianicon Arsenals).

Most everything that fits 1911 will fit a Browning.
