    Synthetic Magazines

I went and put a black synthetic stock on my sporterized no4 mk1, so my metal magazine looks a little out of place. Does anyone know of any black synthetic 10 rd mags? I saw some metal 30 rd mags for a Bren, but even if it did fit, damn that's a lotta weight lmao

I’ve never seen a plastic Enfield magazine. Is there such a thing?

ProMag makes new steel Enfield magazines. I have one on my nickel plated sporter. It’s a bit flimsy. But for $25 it does the job.

You could coat exposed parts of a metal magazine in black plasti-dip, but it wouldn't be the most durable finish, but it would be easily reversible.

I think it would be less than $10 and if you can run a rattle can of spray paint you can plasti-dip.

It was a huge trend in the performance car world a few years ago, people were doing wheels, emblems etc etc.

Basically it is a liquid rubber/soft plastic coating that is reasonably durable, but non-permanent. If it gets ratty, or you don't like the result you can easily remove it. Look up youtube or google it to see what I mean.

It comes in aerosol and brush-on, and in a variety of colors.

Normally I won't think to use it in a firearms application unless I was looking to protect a plastic stock or something like that, but in the case of matching a plastic stock, it might be a good fit. If nothing else it would be a cheap thing if you didn't like the result.
