    Ballester Molina With B Prefix

I am hoping someone may be able to shed some light on this. I have read on several forums that B Prefix Ballester Molina's are serial numbered up to 21000. However, I may be buying one with a B prefix that is numbered at 22xxx. Could this be possible? If so where does this one fall into the light of being used by the SOE? Thanks in advance.

Thank you. I’ve seen that thread before and it’s really great information. My question was do all the Britishicon contract guns end at serial number 21000? I’ve see some above that number. Can anyone corroborate this?

Ballesters were manufactured concurrently for the Britishicon and for the Argentineicon military, with the s/ns interspersed. I don't believe there is any precise cutoff of the British guns at 21,000. All the British guns were procured for SOE but that does not mean they actually saw use by SOE. After the war some of them were sold off as surplus NIB.
