    Identification of part

I found this part among some M16icon and AR15 parts a few years ago - but have been unable to identify which model or even if it is a M16/AR15 part.

I found out - it is related to one of the Colt models - anyone care to guess what this part is for ? and to what Colt model ?Attachment 58026

It looks like part of an M203 grenade launcher assembly for an M16icon. (see attachment)

    correct answer

Correct answer Al, and thanks for posting that schematic drawing of the Colt 203 launcher parts. I found out what this part was for by the number on the other side but really wanted to see a schematic view of the parts. RobertAttachment 58028

I knew that I had seen it before. Many, many times. The numbers do help sometimes.
