    Hammer Help Needed

    Anyone got the skinny on this type of hammer? Not found in Riesch's book nor Harrison's book. Copy of War Baby hasn't arrived yet.

    Looks like a Type 2 too me.

    Then all the type 2s had the mill cuts on the back of the hammer for easy removal of the trigger spring guide and other types didn't? If so I wonder why this feature isn't mentioned in the two books I mentioned above?

    It looks like it is marked "HI" use on early Inlands and National Postal Meter carbines.
