    Saving an m16 magazine pouch.

While at of all things a second hand airsoft store I found this.

I find the stuff in the oddest of places sometimes but after I got it home i noticed this
    Attachment 91223
Part of the snap for one of the grenade pouches is missing, now the part for the strap is still there so I got the thinking why don't i just replace the missing part but I have no idea what size or style of snap I should be looking for. So has anyone by chance had to do a similar repair and know what I need to get?

    M16 magazine pouch

You do have a few choices, find a really damaged M16icon and salvage the snap or just look around and find another pouch. I started to collect the US military variationsAttachment 91231

If you go to a shoemaker that repairs leather goods, he'll have a bucket full of the male portions and you can find a brass one that fits the very female portion you have. He'll then install it for a nominal fee...
