Would this have been worth its price in parts?

    http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/Vie...?Item=65614588

You see alot of k98k "snipers" on sites such as gunbroker, usually asking upwards of 10K, but this, although the auction has ended, would the parts alone have been worth it?

Although there are alot of red flags, and ALOT of missing info, might have been a steal.. who knows.

Definitely some stuff worth some cash there but with those bad pics, hard to tell what's legit huh? Looks like a Zeiss Zielvier that was mounted on some sort of double or single claw mount from the leftover silver solder marks on it. The mount is tough to tell if it is original or a repro but the blueing on the rings looks pretty new. I think if the mount was legit, it would have been a good buy. Otherwise, I think he should have started his auction around $1300 and went from there. Noone took the bait anywho....
