OK to shoot CMP shipped M1 Carbine????

I received a rack grade M1icon Carbine from CMPicon. Is it OK to shoot after cleaning without checking the headspace? Does CMP check the headspace before shipping to customer?

Yes, CMPicon has checked the headspace, but should be rechecked if possible.

As a racker I would also inspect the extractor, ejector, and all of the springs for proper functioning and replace as needed..
