Interesting-I have a Model 1935 Short Rifle with a 23 inch barrel. Is the bolt handle turned down? Is the safety reversed (safe on left)?

Any other markings that might tell us who manufactured it?

Flat bottom bolt almost sounds like a Spanish Mauser!
