    Hand Guard questions................

Is a type III Hand Guard to late for a 5,093,xxx Inland? I assume they are.

Was the RMC Hand Guard pictured below used by RMC or possibly Q-RMC? With the X'd O staking mark, QHMC comes to mind.
I have some of these with the same marking in a box, that I had never questioned who used them, until now.

Also how often are the B.B. marked Type III recoil Plates found?
Were these used on IBM carbines?
If so are they a little scarcer than other IBM plates?
I also have a few of these and don't recall anyone ever listing these in there parts breakdowns.
Any idea who supplied the B.B. Recoil Plates?

    Thx Again Guys,
    Charlie-painter777

Regards Inland Handguards, I can report what is in the CC newsletter 361 which examines Inland block 4897526-5549821. on Handguards it says- the block started out with usage of two rivet shallow groove handguard. The earliest report of a four rivet handguard was around 5,179,xxx. After that the two rivet was only occasionally reported. Markings on handguards include H.I. and OI
