    M/94 Carbine Firing Pin Protrusion

I have an M/94 Carl Gustavs Carbine and am wondering if there is an adjustable firing pin on these. My father in law says that the last his father used he thinks that there were some misfires. I haven't tried firing this yet, but would like to make sure it is safe first.
    Any help is greatly appreciated!

If you have all matching parts you should be OK. The firing pins have a slight protusion. Too long and they will pierce the primer and you will have real problems. Does the firng pin look like someone has filed it down? Then you may well need a replacement. Try some fresh ammo, and good luck.

You may also have a weak spring which you can order at midway or brownells.
