Hey guys,
Traded for this carbine a bit over a year ago. Knew nothing about them at the time but trusted the dealers that I have been doing business with for ten years.
It's an early '43 Quality Hardware that is probably a restoration. That's ok. Can't imagine where you could find all of the parts in good and fine condition to assemble this carbine and at what price. Bought "War Baby" not long after I got it and did a data sheet on all parts except the small ones in the bolt.
Over fifty percent of the QHMC parts are correct for the date of manufacture and the rest are correct for later QHMC carbines. Rockola barrel is like new.
Shoots like a champ. Very accurate and works well.
Really only have a few questions. Is the rear sight a repro, is the sling correct and are the front band and swivel right?
Will dig out the data sheet if anybody has questions about specific parts.
Thanks for any comments and info.
Hope Ya'll don't mind lotsa' photos.
