And really only at $40 so far because it has about a $10 dollar oiler too.

The same seller has another going off a few hours later with a BK oiler.

I had a pair on of decent C-tips on there a couple weeks back, just a little fretting from the 1A swivel started at $40 for the pair, no bids. I think people are afriad to bid on them anymore.

Curt you are so right on this. There are so many "good" fakes out there that is you don't have a real good understanding of them you are likely to get burned.

You could put it on the classified here. People know each other and have a better trust factor.

But then you would have to put a selling price, not let it bid up like eBay or Gunbroker.

    Jim,

I honestly would rather pay one of you guys a "fair" price of $75 for a part that I need than bid it up to $50 on GB and take a chance that its a rip off. I don't mind paying a bit more when I trust the person selling it.

What gets me is all the faked/humped stuff that is bringing in hundreds or thousands.... I am not sure I want to try and keep up with "collecting". Collecting repros is not fun! I think I want to just turn everything into "shooters".

And Jim, my good friend, while we are talking about buying and selling, why don't you break open that collection of yours and sell me a couple of carbines for about $400 a piece? I will even pay for shipping! I know it will be worth the money!

The photo did not very good and doesn't show enough details on the 'C - tip', but from what I can see, it's looks correct. HTH

PS - The two slings in the eBay ads at the top of the page are good.

I sent pics to a few guys on here who saw my post when I had bought them that were interested, they were looking for nicer than these, one of our more vocal members here on the forum spotted them and e-mailed me, since the auction was down to the last 1/2 hour and there were no bids I closed it and turned them over to him for my cost. Only because he is one of my most favorite VGB's as the wife calls them. (virtual gun buddies).

Hey, Thanks from one of your newest member of the Carbine Club. Listened to your thread, so I bought the “c” tip on ePay for $51. I have no clue about real or repro slings. I appreciate all of your opinions. Regards- Jim.
