Pawn shops, generally a staple item. Lately, though good unmodified ( not bubba'ed) SKS have been a bit scarce except for the Yugoslavian late model variant w/ the grenade launcher.

just ordered a new ChiCom yesterday after looking for Russian made for a month, cheaper and just as good looking. No functional problems noted.
