need Help Identifying Civil War Musket

I have this Musket which I am pretty sure is from the civil war. It has an anchor with I think a JS on it. The anchor appears all over the gun. The barrel has lots of stamping on it as well. Does any one know anything about what the stamping my mean, or what I should look for. The gun appears that it was used a lot. There is a lot of residue on the gun. And I think it is still loaded. I was told not to clean it as it would decrease the value of the gun. Any one with any information, I would love to hear it. Thanks...

I can not tell you what model your rifle-musket is, but I can tell you is was made in Belgium, by O.P. Drissen, Liege. I have a similarly marked patt. 1853 Enfield, in .58 caliber rather than .577. Yours is most likely a Frenchicon pattern musket / rifle that may have been modified in its configuration.

Do you know if this would have been a Confederate Musket? How would I tell. I am looking to sell this musket, How would I even know what to sell it for? Thanks so much for the information.
