    .280 Bren

As the subject of the .280 Bren conversion has been mentioned in another thread I hope someone can enlighten me regarding the magazine(s) used with it.
This is the UKicon pattern .280 mag I have -

But in the BGS it shows a slightly differend pattern with a staggered spine.

Which pattern of UK .280 mag came 1st (and where there any others) ?
I pressume the EM2 .280 mags were exactly the same ?

    Thanks in advance ,KG

There were three (?) patterns of magazine for the EM.280 rifles and each had a complicated holding open device that beggared belief. But I think that the actual interface between them was the same (per calibre of course).

Haven't got a clue KG but with them all having the same interface I would assume that they'd all be in with a chance

    Last one on the right

I would venture that it's the last one on the upper row(from the LEFT)

What's happenin' in Soodberry ? Anything coming out of the stacks yet ??

    Cheers,JR

Judging by scaling up the pictures the top left would be a Canadianicon 30-06 mag as its wider than the 7.92 and the angle of the mag mouth ?
2nd from left 7.92 Inglis, doesn't look quite stretched enough to be 30-06 T41
    3rd from left UKicon .280
4th from left...... ? but maybe .280 EM2 before the mag was modified to also fit the Bren ? Not sure the bar going full width would work with a bren mag well ? But don't know sod all about the EM2 !
    Right top Canadian pattern .280
    Bottom 303

I'll go for the 4th from the left that is the one that wont fit some sort of Bren.(without a lump hammer !)

Looks like I may be buying the beer Warren :-(

4th from the left looks very much like a mag from the EM1 rifle, the one to the left is the later EM2 mag modified for the Bren, the earlier (Pure EM2) mag had a spine that ran from top to bottom.
