Remington 03.

I snagged a Remington Model 03 today. Serial number on parked receiver is 3207626. It has a 4 groove barrel marked RA 7-42 with ordnance bomb. Blued nose cap R marked, blued barrel band swivel R marked, blued bolt is stamped B&S. The walnut straight stock is pristine with an RA-P cartouche on left side....Raritan Arsenal. No P cartouche. I paid $350 for it. Smooth butt plate.

Bolt is not original. Bolt should have a "R" stamp under the handle. VERY nice price!

A local shop bought a bunch of milsurps at auction and asked me to share what I knew about them...it took 3 hours and I got pick of the litter.
