most of the Cs that I have observed on auction from the CMPover the years had SA 52 or 53 barrels. I was wondering, Cs were built so late in the war thay could have not seen much combat use overseas So why did so many need barrels replaced during the early 50s. The only thing I can think of would be they went to korea in original condition and then were rebuilt after the end of that war using up a supply of barrels that were produced in 52/53. any ideas
