    Ishapore 2A extractor question

Greetings, I'm new to the forum and hoping that I can pick your brains with a few questions. I recieved a Ishapore 2A for a birthday present and have had a few problems, currently with the extractor. I found that the claw was broken. I ordered a new extractor and installed this week. The bolt has a noticble amount more resistance when closing than before. Also, I can't (or think that something will break if I do) close the bolt if I slip a cartridge into the chamber. If there is a round in the mag, it will pick it out, chamber, fire and remove it fine. Is this normall or do I have another issue to deal with?
Thanks for any and all help Mike

Mine did same thing when I replaced the spring for the extractor. It was a tight close but functioned fine. Each to his own though...

Took the old rifle out to the Black Hills over the weekend and sent a little over 5 boxes through it. Never had a chance to shoot Prairie Dogs before, very humbling, but also a blast. I feel the blame for all those missed shots are mine, and not the rifle.
