Do you think this sight cover is original or repro? I recently purchased at a gunshow from a reputable source, but just wondering?

I'd say yes. The markings look like good stamps to me. I've heard of fakes being laser engraved. Also heard fakes did not have the periods in U.S. Bill Ricca would know for sure.

Yes, it is. One way to tell is ones made in China have a sharp crease and not a gradual transition from the straight sides to the curve that goes around the barrel.

Yes, it's authentic.

I bought a cover from eBay several years ago that turned out to be laser etched, and it looked terrible!
I had never heard of faked 1903 covers back then. (People will fake anything!)

The markings looked as if they were a series of uneven pin holes.
