bolt as the op rod is trw marked
the trigger housing is trw, hammer is marked 66118 5546008, safety k8, guard is unmarked
the rear sight base is harrington and richarsdon
the flash hider is unmarked, or i cannot find any mark. where does it should be?
    anyone can post a pic?
same for the gas piston and gas cylinder, that is completly bright. i wish to see pics of the marks.
the stock have DAS and the proof mark.

can anyone help me to know wich parts i have to change to have a complete trw m14?
what other parts should be marked trw?

    thanks
    ciao

Andy, welcome. I wish I could help you but I'm not that sharp on the M14icon. Good to see you here from the "G"!

"no marks" on all the above are fine, AFAIK. TRW stocks are fairly distinctive in appearance- photos would help here.

Your hammer is WRA. I don't know about the safety. I don't think the flash hider or gas parts are marked.

Gas cylinder has just been rubbed upon a bit- It's stainless steel, so no real worries, unless you try and refinish it conventional "parkerizing".

Stock is likely not orginal to the rifle- TRW's are a bit blocky, and have sort of a blackish stain in the birch wood, typically. Frankly, they didn't make their own stocks anyway (subcontracted) and I prefer the walnut so why change it?!

well the gas cylinder appear to be polished. all the parts, inside included, is bright... so i will replace it.

I don't think you can parkerize a gas cylinder because they are stainless steel. The were usually painted with a black enamel and baked in an oven.
