B barrel Finnish M91

I've always had a thing for Finnish "B barrel" Mosins and recently indulged myself.





Wood and metal are in great shape and the bore is shiny and sharp. Did the Finns issue canvass slings?

The bolt knob is numbered to the barrel shank, but the butt plate has a different number.


I've not seen a s/n on the butt plate in that location before. It seems like they are usually at the very top of the plate.
