Have you tried Brian Dickat BDL
?
See advertisement above in this thread ...
Not sure if he has any, but he's a friend of the forums and excellent to deal with ...

I think there are two different types depending on what you are restoring. The RFI 7.62 SMLEs use a different mag to the L42 ( No4 ) types. Best you make sure you are getting the right one too.
If its a No4 based 7.62 then the original Enfield mags are 'rocking horse poo' and when available make well over £100 each - I have a waiting list of folks wanting them.
If you are not 'fussed' about an original mag then go to one of the gun auctions where 7.62 sporterised No4's sell for about £80 / £100. If you dont want the rifle then (what I have done in the past) take some tools and strip of everything you need (sights, trigger, trigger guard, butt, forearm, magazine etc etc & leave the FAC / Pressure parts at the auction house. (You need to agree it with the auctioneer before hand, that if you win it you can strip it)
Mine are not the best, but they are not too bad. I can think of lots of Enfields I'd rather have but instead of constantly striving for more, sometimes it's good to be satisfied with what one has...
If in a bind, the 2a1 mags WILL usually function in L42a1s/No.4s. Don't know why I know this...
2a1
No.8/L39a1/L42a1
Don't forget that there was a batch of 'repro' L42 magazines made. A slightly lesser quality than 'mickey mouse' but if you can have the cardboard ejector hardened and re spot-welded on, they are OK so I've been informed
Dont forget the sterling conversion mag,

Does anyone know where I can get any of those mentioned above
I don't have any spares. Try GE Fulton at Bisley. http://www.fultonsofbisley.com
Thanks to everyone who offered advice. I have tried Fultons and am awaiting reply.
I have been offered a magazine in a private email and I appreciate the offer but at the price I would be better off bidding in an auction, acquiring another rifle and swapping the one magazine between the two. One can never have enough rifles.
