LB No. 4 Mk. I Inspection tag

Here is a pre-printed Canadianicon made inspection tag.

Note the original printing is for the No. 4 Mk. I ?

This particular tag was attached to an unissued, matching 1945 body dated LB No. 4 Mk. I* (T) sniper with matching REL optic in a 1946 dated Canadian Chest, S.A., No. 15. Although the matching serial number exists in hand written form using a leaded pencil, that area has been shopped out for posting.

The C.D. No. _________ PACKER _____________and SHIPPER _________ sections are not completed.

The lower portion is not present; the perforation marks indicate the lower section was intended to be accurately separated from the string attached upper portion.

There is a star there for the No. 4 Mk I*, it is just hard to see.
