    My New-to-me Remington 1903A3

Took the plunge and now my Garands have a new friend in the safe with them, a Remington 1903A3. If you have a moment, take a look at this very short video and let me know what you think about, any comments on what I have?

    Thanks guys.

Very nice , clean rifle . Looks fresh from rebuild ( has been reparked) . The stock is a pinned stock from about 8 mos to a year earlier . Your sling is assembled wrong , the metal hook goes in the lower sling swivel , the sewed tail goes against the stock ( not sandwitched between ) , loose end through the front swivel and against the stock with the lever facing the stock.

    Thanks for the comments.

I noticed that the sling was put on wrong, but it came that way from the seller.

Nice A3 looks to be in great condition, has it got a 2 or 4 groove barrel i have a Remington A3 with a 2 groove barrel i find it very accurate but i presume the four groove barrel would be far more accurate enjoy your A3.

Haven't checked for two or four grooves yet, thanks for the suggestion.

Nice rifle. As was previously stated it has been arsenal refinished which is common for these rifles. Looks like yours was refinished and put away because I see very little wear to the parkerizing. You probably have a great rifle. Make sure the action screws are tight, bore is clean and fire away.

Nice rifle! Looks like the cocking piece, sleeve and safety are from an '03. Not sure about the bolt, but it looked smooth around the safety lug.
