    Stock woods

I would like to know if American Black Walnut is found on early 1930s production K98s
This concerns a discussion on another forum where this has been promoted.
I am hoping someone here can give an opinion. Military Mausers are outside my field.

    Thanks

The Germans actually sent black walnut back to the USAicon after WWI as war reparations. It was wood they had acquired on the world before WWI. Not sure about 1930's wood. They did likely buy wood on the world market and likely had walnut from everywhere. They quickly went to laminated wood as it was much cheaper and very durable.
