    How big is this hobby

I'm still very new here. I have seen posts from what seems all over the world. I am curious just how big our hobby is. I'm from a small town in central Pennsylvania USAicon. Where are all of you from?

This is a diversified group. Spread out for sure. Other then the America's, I see some from New Zealandicon to Germanyicon and Finlandicon with places in between.

Many are or have been in the military. Many had relatives that served. Guessing that is where part of the interest originated. Stories from family members.

Movies and TV in the 50's about my Dad's war. Series like Combat. Fought in my own conflict in the 60's. Trained with and used different weapons. Later wanting to get a few, then a few more, then too many.

I feel Military surplus ownership will go on forever. The fasination with history is enough in itself. The enjoyment of ownership and excitement of firing these weapons of years passed is a cherished memory for me.
