The added serial number tells me thatyou have a recent import. Eastern Europe, that is all I know. Appears to be a nice, used standard K98icon. How does it shoot?

    k98

havent shot it,was more into the k and the geco stamps.i know what they are but looking for value on the rifle.i havent seen any with both stamps.i think i paid high for it and i wont say how much, but you know sometimes those expensive buys are just worth it.even if the rifle isnt its the idea you got what you wanted.i know its a rc k98 and that doesnt bother me its part of the history.the bolt is a mis match but looks to have a story of its own.i think its out of a gew 98

Bolt does look like a GEW98 bolt to me. Not done at the arsenal, but later on when in the hands of troops.
