Two reincarnations: Martini Henry Mk.I, upgraded to M.H. Mk.II, ending up as a Martini Enfield Mk.II.

Looking at the Martini in the above post brings to mind the often overlooked fact that the British Army rifle progressed from the muzzleloading, flint lock Baker Rifle through the percussion, muzzleloading Brunswick, the Martini and finally to the MLE/LLE during the reign of one Monarch.
