Padded canvas carry bag?

Looking for any information on what I believe to be a WW2 era carry bag

Lettering on it says "Canvas Carry Bag Type CSK 10029A"

Size is apprx 43" by 8" M1 Carbine size

Stitching, material, etc, seems to be of WW2 vintage.
