    No 4 Mk2 question

Good-day everyone. Just had a question about a couple of barrel markings and what they mean. This Parker-Hale is from 9/52 and there are the letters "BNP" stamped on the top of the barrel and "F52" on the side. Any info on these markings would be appreciated...thanks.

BNP is a Birmingham proof mark and F52 is the Maker/date stamp applied to many major parts of post war Fazakerly made rifles. In this case it’s Faz. 1952….the same as your rifles date.
Is the receiver marked No.4MkII (F) over the serial number by chance?

Ok so your rifle was originally made Sept. of 1952 at the Royal Ordnance Factory (ROF) Fazakerly. The ^ is referred to as the Broad Arrow and is the Britishicon property mark applied to military items owned by the crown.
