    Possible German Bayonet, Need HELP!

I've acquired this bayonet many years ago and I'm trying to do some research to figure out what exactly I have. I've spent much time trying to get some information but all the information I find seems to contradict itself from another source. Possibly Germanicon, possibly not. Can someone please tell me what I have and what rifle it attaches to?
The first pic shows the bayonet and scabbard as a whole.
The second pic shows the manufacture (Weyersberg, Kirschbaum & Co, Solinger)
The third pic shows the proof marks stamped on the blade.
The fouth pic shows that it looks like someone was placing hash marks on the scabbard, I'm hoping that means a kill tally but you never know.
Thank you for any information anyone can give. THANK YOU!!!

Chillean 1895 the markings are for Krupp steel the blade maker - the balls, and CHile the shield very common bayonet

Doubt they are kill marks, few bayonets are ever used for that and if you look Chileicon isnt big on wars but who knows i sure hope that was a mistype and that you were hoping they weren't!

Thanks for the information, I found the information I was looking for based on your information. If you look on ebay there are a few people trying to sell an identical bayonet with identical marking as mine as a Germanicon M1907 or something to that effect.

As for the comment of "I hope" I knew someone was going to nail me for that after I had already submitted it. I just simply like military weapons with a story behind them and to have something used as it was intended to be used just fascinates me. It wasn't meant in the fashion it sounded previously...one day I'll learn how to type to say what I mean.
