    My USGI 5.4 Inland

    Hello,

I know a little about this carbine, the FAT cartouche is for an arsenal, Fabricca Armi de Terni (excuse my poor Italianicon) that it is USGI though not a "perfect" match of all the same manufacture parts, and I am filling out some paperwork that needs an approximate value. I'm not up on the carbine market at all, I would appreciate your input. If you saw this at a show what would it be priced at for example? I have no idea since I haven't been able to make it to any shows lately.

    Thanks in advance,
    Jim

I own one that is about a few weeks before yours

Your bolt should be round, the slide should be a type 5, you should have a type 2 band, The barrel should be an Inland dated 7-8/44, you've seen the W trigger housing . Yours is just a typical rebuild. At a West coast show it would be $7-800. Can't speak about other parts of the country.

Look on the top of the barrel in front of the receiver. If there is a small stamp there under the hand guard then it was last rebuilt in Italyicon. That would make you carbine a CMPicon release one. Value is around the $800 mark as Dave said.

Thank you for your help, your estimates are at about what I was thinking but couldn't easily confirm it.
