    I haven't had it out for a while but I have Inland serial number 23,625 it's the lowest number I still have.

    The barrel date on mine is 9-42, type one band, stock highwood I cut LA in slingwell, safety is checkered, mag catch EI.

    How about a four digit? Sn. 3690 w/6-42 barrel. It's one of the first batch of M1A1icon carbines.
